The United Nations Security Council will hold an emergency meeting at 3 p.m. EDT on June 22 to discuss the latest developments in the U.S strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Several countries, including Russia and China, have called for the meeting.
Following the attack, Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Iravani, sent a letter to UN Secretary General Guterres and the rotating of the Security Council, Guyana, demanding an emergency meeting on the matter.
